Water Down Under is an excellent educational resource, ideally suited to screening in schools, tourist information centres, interpretation and exhibition spaces, local libraries or by natural resource management and other community groups.

Without the waters of the Great Artesian Basin, many outback towns and communities would simply not exist, and some of our most important industries, including export industries, would struggle to survive. In Water Down Under, people living in the Basin tell their stories about saving water, restoring artesian pressure by fixing their bores and piping water, and the ways in which this improves their country and their livelihoods.

The DVD was produced by Anvil Media on behalf of GABCC, with funding from the Australian Government and the governments of Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales and the Northern Territory, and with assistance from the NSW Western Catchment Management Authority.

As at September 2012, over 3500 copies of the DVD have been distributed, with an overwhelmingly positive response. To request a hardcopy please contact us.
